The back bedroom has a queen size bed, bedside table and lots of closet space. East facing window for a lovely breeze at night. This room has a private four piece bathroom (toilet, sink, shower, tub). The second bedroom has two single beds, plenty of closet space and storage. There is a second full bathroom next to the other bedroom, just off the kitchen. The living room has a brand new sleeper sofa for additional sleeping spots. You will have your own keys so that you can come and go as you wish.
Parking: There are three options for parking. 1) Municipal lot two blocks away, good option if you arrive before 5pm (visitor permit required 2) Street parking - good option if you arrive before 5pm, as spots are very limited. Let us know if you decide to park in the lot or on the street, as we’ll provide you with a visitor permit ($25 deposit, held until permit is returned ) 3) reserved parking spot next door, this is $10 per day.
Coin-op washer/dryer downstairs, Patio area behind apartment where you can have a cigarette (please close apt windows first) or just sit with a cup of coffee. Fast, reliable WiFi connection. Full kitchen available as well. I live right around the corner and I'm available to help you however I can. I look forward to sharing my favorite NYC places with you.
It's a breath of fresh air after spending a crazy tiring day in the city. You'll come home to quiet streets, people walking dogs, neighbors chatting with neighbors and families out for a stroll. We are so close to Manhattan, and if you could fly, you'd be there in 3km's. But you have to go through the tunnel, so it takes about 10 minutes, could be a bit longer in times of heavy traffic. Buses run EVERY 5 minutes, you will never wait longer than this.
Super convenient. 24/7 bus stop is less than 2 blocks away, and easy to walk home at any time of the night. You will have detailed info on how to get in/out of the city. I provide an info binder in the apartment.
This is a very low crime area, it's filled with families and people who live in Weehawken and likely work in the city. It's a great place! I have another listing across the street, and another around the corner. If you're lost, just ask for Maria (Milu = Maria Lurdes), everyone knows me.
There is a great store on the corner where you can get a yummy bacon and egg sandwich in the morning, and another store where you can get a six pack of beer at 9pm. Lots of small restaurants nearby.
I live very close by, and I will be very happy to help you plan your itinerary. I am available on Viber, What's App, by text or email to help you with whatever I can.
This is a quiet neighborhood near one of the major traffic arteries into Manhattan. We're a few blocks from the Lincoln Tunnel, but far enough away that you can rest comfortably without having crazy city noise to deal with. Spending the day in NYC is so much fun, but it's also fun to have a relaxing place to rest so that you can tackle touring again the next day!
All guests must be included in guest count, including children and toddlers.
Here are some facts about transportation: the apartment is 2 minutes (3 blocks) walking from the Park Avenue bus stop. The jitney bus is very frequent, I rarely wait for it more than 2 to 3 minutes. Most of the time you won't even wait at all. You will get to the bus stop and a bus will be there. Buses are available 24/7 so you can catch them even when you spend the whole evening out.
The price of these express buses is $3 onboard, and for one bus in particular (Gate 51) $2.50 if you buy tickets at ticket window #23 at Port Authority Bus Terminal. Please note that if you buy tickets for this bus, you can only use the tickets for this bus, not on the "all night" buses. You won't find a timetable or route on the internet for these buses, it's a private bus company that runs many lines in and out of Manhattan.
You can look on Wiki under "Spanish Transportation" if you're interested in the history of this private service. NJTransit #22 runs every 30 minutes into Hoboken, home of the Cake Boss, Birthplace of Frank Sinatra and Baseball (where you can also catch the PATH into Manhattan 33rd Street and/or the World Trade Center) and NJTransit #123 every 15-30 minutes (during commute hours) into Manhattan’s Port Authority (42nd Street & 8th Avenue – Times Square), Easy city bus access to Jersey Garden Outlet Mall, much closer and as good as Woodbury Commons. We are also close to Hoboken, Weehawken and Jersey City.
All guests, whether kids, toddlers or infants must be included in guest count. No unregistered guests are allowed.
No downloading of copyrighted materials - downloads are traceable to guest dates, and we will forward your contact info to copyright holders if asked.
Please remove garbage and put it in bins outside before checkout.
Recycling goes into separate bins outside.
Guests responsible to wash, dry and replace all kitchen items they use. Any stovetop items (pans, pots, frying pans, etc) must be washed by hand, not placed in dishwasher.

A nice apartment in a quiet neighbourhood. Close to the busstop that brings you to Time Square and close to the supermarket.
perfekt appartement for a visit to new york. A supermarket is about 10 minutes away. You can take a bus to manhattan. It costs 3 dollars and the bus shelter is only 5 minutes from the appartement. If you walk 10 minutes you have the perfekt view of the skyline of manhattan!!!
We were 4 people spending 2 weeks in this apartment. It was just perfect. Clean , very well equiped and in a very nice neighborhood with a lot of friendly people.
Milu is a wonderfull host. Very helpfull and reliable.
We`ll tell everyone we know : " If you go to NYC. Stay with Maria in Weehawken."
Thank you for everything.
A complete house in New Jersey. What else do you want.
Pick-up from airport also controlled by Maria.
At the corner 30 meters delicious sandwiches available to start the day.
This shop has all the basic necessities.
Transfer the chicken to Manhattan via bus. Incredibly, during our seven-day stay, we have zero wait time on this van. Runs every 3 minutes I believe. Still on you expect when you come to walk.
Also back from the New York Times building 24/7 service. There was always a waiting van. Travel time around approx. 15-20 min. (Dep. On traffic). "In the evening back 10 minutes. Two good bathrooms and the sofa can also be slept well. All in all ..... do.
Especially when you're 4.
Een compleet huis in New Jersey.
Our days at the apartement was really fine and warm. You feel at home and Milu is really kind and friendly with all details. Thank you from all memebers of our family¡
Wonderful appartment, as seen on the photos, modern and very clean. Nice area, perfect location, so easy to get to Manhattan! Milu is a perfect host. I would never choose another appartment. But you have to know that 1 bedroom is without window what was no problem at all for my 15 year old son.
My friend and I loved our stay in Maria's apartment! Maria was already there waiting for us at check-in and gave us a great orientation to the apartment. The 'chicken bus' outside the post office was awesome and an easy way to get right into the city. The apartment was clean and tidy and well equipped with supplies. Thanks Maria for an amazing time in NYC!
