Please note: There is a very well behaved dog in this home.
Your room is a second bedroom in my 2-bedroom/2-bath home with central heating and cooling. The guest bedroom has a queen size bed. There is plenty of closet space plus a large four drawers chest, a desk and corner computer work space. There is an older laptop for your use. Your own bathroom is a full bath with custom-tiled shower complete with luxurious toiletries, fluffy towels and hair dryer. About the host...I am semi-retired and have been living in Chicago for over 40 years. You can probably guess that I'm a gardener. I run businesses from home and also teach Thai cooking (you might be joining me for dinner by chance!). I've traveled to many parts of the world and love all the different customs and cultures. I love sharing my home with guests and meeting new friends. I play tennis, so if you do too, we can hit a few balls at the court nearby. Their is no TV in my home as I do not watch TV.
Welcome and enjoy your stay!

We had a really great holiday. It was nice to stay in an American home, while at the same time we had all the privacy we wanted. Nice conversations with Jeannie, and she gave us good advices about what to explore five days in Chicago. A lovely garden and a friendly, well behaved dog. If you are planning a stay in Chicago, we highly recommend staying at Jeannies place.
Jeannie is a really nice & pleasent person. The Apartment is really nice and clean with an own bathroom.
We, my daughter and me had a really nice week in Chicago. Its very easy to get downtown with the blue line from here. Jeannie is very relaxed and friendly, so is her dog.
The neighborhood is quite, so sleeping in the morning will be interrupted only by the birds singing or your alarm clock. Breakfast in the garden was a superb start in the day.
We would recommend this place to all our friends, staying in Chicago!!!
This was our first experience with Wimdu and we have nothing to complain about.
The house is beautiful, very clean und very good located. It is just a few minutes to walk to the train wich goes directly to Downtown or to the O'Hare Airport.
The room is big and out to the garden. So it is very quiet. The neigborhood ist safe und pretty. You can do nice walks aorund there. Restaurants and a supermarket are nearby. You just have to walk a few minutes to get there.
Jeannie was a great an very friendly host. If we had any quetions, she helped us and gave us good tipps. We can highly recommend her to other guests.
Super accommodation! here you do nothing wrong. The property has a very good transport links to downtown and the airport. In addition, the house is in a quiet and safe neighborhood with some good bars and restaurants. Jaennie was also an excellent hostess ... always happy.
Super Unterkunft ! hier macht man nichts verkehrt.
Kind and helpful host. Clean house and really comfortable queen size bed. Quiet neighbourhood and close to the train to the city.
Jeannie was an excellent host. I felt very welcomed and the house has a really peaceful and relaxing energy. I enjoyed getting to know Jeannie and have also received good tips on where to go and what's worth seeing in this beautiful city of Chicago. She was a pleasure to be around with. The house is nicely decorated and is very good located Also close to downtown and the train station. Jeannie is a really nice person. I would highly recommend her. The room is big, peaceful and has really nice and comfortable bed. In fact, her whole house can tell it's story. Enjoy your stay with her.
Jeannie is very friendly and helpful. She has a fantastic dog
Easton who was raised as well, incredible.
The room is spacious and a nice bed. The bathroom you have to yourself. Her home is in a quiet street but with the train you are quickly in the city. The garden was covered with snow but there was a degree that they make a super garden woman is.ontbijt you can own and Wi-Fi.
In short, a must for a nice stay in Chicago
I enjoyed my stay with Jeannie She is a charming hostess, generous with her time and advice.
Her house is located on a lovely quiet street in which to return after a busy day in Chicago and the bed was more comfortable.
The garden is still beautiful in October and we can admire her kitchen.
Jeannie was very helpful and friendly. Our room and our bathroom were nice and clean. We had everything we needed and sat in the beautiful garden. The location right between airport and downtown at the blue line is just perfect! Highly recommended!
