Since March I've been at Tanda's wonderful place 4 times. I love the atmosphere at her place. It is comfortable, warm, joyful and clean. The last time, last week, I was hard working and commuting with NJ, but thinking that I'd back to Tanda's place made me happy and relaxed during the day. Tanda her self is very friendly and helpful. Thanks for helping me to find this place and to come in touch to the great Tanda. Vanda
Staying with Tanda and her two lovely and cute cats was a very good choice. She is very friendly, sweet and helpful. Even though I was out and about all the time it was always lovely to come back to the flat. Tanda was super sweet and went out of her way to make me feel relaxed and totally at ease in the space. The whole apartment and especially the room its self are lovely, nicely decorated and clean and tidy. Perfect location, and beautifully presented. I felt at home straight away, and... More »

Great place! Easy commute to Manhattan. Cute cats, and lovely weekend brunch!
Tanda was a great host and I am very thankful that she was able to host me on such a short notice. The neighborhood has a good vibe and she will surely assist you to find an organic grocery store, a nice coffee shop, or a good place to eat.
Tanda was a nice host. The train stop was just around the corner and the neighborhood was nice. The bed was really comfortable and the room was a good size. A little bit of noise from the street, but nothing a pair of earplugs can't handle!
Staying with Tanda was my first experience with Airbnb. And it worked out *wonderfully*. Ms. Francis's spare room was an oasis of calm during my week in Brooklyn. I'm very grateful that this was my first experience with airbnb.com. If you're youngish, flexible, friendly, artsy, respectful, etc., I have no hesitation whatever to recommend staying with this wonderful host.
Our experience at Tanda's place was surreal. First off, the location is off the hook. Beautiful neighborhood, proximity to pharmacy and grocery stores and laundromats, etc... A few minutes walk from a subway station that can bring you to Manhattan in a jiffy. Very safe and gorgeous backdrop to our stay location wise. As for Tanda's space, I cannot stress how comfortable our experience was. She is such a wonderful host, and is genuinely kind and giving and will make you feel really... More »

We loved the warm, artsy feel of Tanda's apartment...lofty because it's on the second floor and you walk up two flights of stairs. Arriving with our luggage it seemed daunting, but once we got settled it was good exercise. It was great to get into our room and see a comfortable bed and plenty of surfaces to set our things out on. This was our maiden Airbnb voyage and Tanda's first attempt at providing breakfast for her guests. She gave us lots of personal attention, making delicious... More »

My stay at Tanda’s place for the past two weeks was fantastic! Tanda is a very warm and welcoming host whose home has a wonderfully creative and laid back atmosphere. Her apartment is near plenty of stores and restaurants and is literally a two-minute walk to the subway. The room itself is spacious and comfortable, and her two sweet cats helped to make my stay complete! I highly recommend Tanda’s place to anyone searching for an affordable and comfortable place to call their home away from... More »
My stay with Tanda (and her 2 cats Love & Kharma) went off without a hitch. Tanda was a gracious, low-key, low-stress host with a wealth of knowledge about local eateries. And when she didn't have the info immediately at hand, she looked it up on the internet and provided it to me. The bed & room were comfortable & clean. Enjoy Tanda & enjoy Brooklyn!
Tanda is a lovely and gracious host I highly recommend staying at her place.
Tanda was a great host. She had answers to all my logistical questions. The apartment was clean and homey I slept like a rock on her comfy bed. The location was perfect for us seeing as we had stuff to do in both Brooklyn and Manhattan. There was an west African restaurant right across the street that was out of this world.
