Reviews for this host's other properties
Room standard did not meet our expectations. It lacked considerably in the kitchen that could be used for anything other than making coffee and tea. We have to move from room to another in the middle of our stay, which was a shame for our planning experiences in Rome. On arrival we were presented with an additional expense that was not on the announcement of wimdu.com. We had to have the help of Wimdu to get the host to refrain for this extra expense. We will be happy to Rome another time, will properly use Wimdu, but we wont use this host again.
We didn't receive the room we booked. The bed was horrible, the room was dark, the garbage from the last visitors was on the balkony, one of the bed Lights was broken, the TV was Not working properly. Further i don't understand it as an own bath room when i have to go through an extra room whitch is used with someone else. The Apartment is reachable per Bus, it is cheap but it's minimum 40 Minutes from all big Tourist points away.
We had a really nice stay in this modern-looking apartment. The balcony is large and the kitchen has a good equipment with microwave, fridge and a small oven. The next tramstation is only a few steps away around the courner.
Nice appartment, nice balcony
Ten minutes from centre (take the yellow train -Alessi). You have to share the appartement with Riccardo, the son of the owner. But the two rooms are shared from each other by a (shared) hall. The pink room has its OWN kitchen. It is a pity there was not enough toiletpaper for the during our stay.
Really nice room with small kitchen and good commute by bus or tram with city centre. The only minus was leaking shower. But if your are looking for place for stay for couple days in Rome and don't want to spend a lot of money choose this room.
It's was a nice and clean appartment. There was a balcony we didn't expected it. They were very friendly and helpfull. The only thing we missed was toilet paper, hot water in the kitchenette and the kettle need a clean up.
Clean and exactly as advertised. Kitchen could be better equipped but this is to be expected. Easy access via bus and tram with a stop only 50m from the front door.
The room was very nice. Clean and organized, the pictures show exactly what the room is like.
The public transport (bus and train) are right in front of the apartment and the centre is around 15 minutes away.
There are a few points that could be improved, but overall it was great. There were only two glasses and cups, a few more would be nice. There was only one towel per person, and when you stay for a week, an extra fresh towel is nice. also a towel to dry the glasses after washing up would be nice. But all of this were just details and we enjoyed our stay and the extra things would be luxury, but not necessary.
Communication with the host was fine, english is good enough and she was very friendly.
The apartment is around 30 minutes away by car/taxi from Chiampino airport or 45 minutes by bus. It is also a new apartment building, and the neighborhood is pretty quiet for a big city. Theres always sounds of busses and trains but that comes with the city. The wifi was also great, fast.
We recommend this apartment to anyone who is looking for a good quality apartment on a budget.
Ileana was a very friendly hostess. The apartment itself was very clean and perfectly adequate for a few nights, but not for people with back problems, because the mattresses were very thin, so you could feel the bed frame. Pity was that the toilet flushing, the whole three days we were there, not working, even though they had assured us that it will be repaired. An air conditioning system there is by the way only in one of the bedrooms. For the cheap price, I found the apartment nevertheless acceptable and would probably book again.
Background: 1 week stay as a couple for the holidays
We had a good stay. Only a few bus stations or tram from the very center, this apartment offers very good value for money.
The building is new, is located 200m from the Alessi stop, but the street was not specified in terms of the bus stop! And impossible to understand the indication Ileana phone as the road is noisy! She and her friend came for us when we finally found our way. The area is residential, very quiet, especially at night. From the bedroom we hear the tram, quite noisy as old, and planes (we are just below the landing corridor), but for city dwellers, we really found the quiet location! (Incidentally nothing circulates the night ...) No noisy neighbors or rowdy revelers in the street. The only risk would eventually roommates: the apartment consists of 2 bedrooms, which share the hall and the terrace, which faces a large stone wall (not vis-à-vis).
Our room was clean, was minimalist (kitchenette, TV, small wardrobe) but this is enough. Irritating little detail, the bed consists of 2 mattress 1 pers, leqsuels tend to diverge, and we must constantly replace them. We had our own bathroom, while the other room is served by another bathroom via the hallway. In this small corridor Also a fridge and a microwave. Please note, no internet!
Small (big for us) more: Ileana advised us has an Italian sandwich shop a few blocks away Dar Ciriola. To test absolutely! On the week we made it almost 1 out of 3 meals!
I recommend to all points of view, with a warning to those who need very quiet places.
A tester absolument !
